Jennifer Negron

Clinical Director

Jennifer’s clinical experience includes school counseling, extended-day treatment, intensive in-home services, school-based outpatient services, with youth involved with the department of juvenile justice, and with adolescents at a therapeutic boarding school. Her counseling style is trauma informed, relationship focused and incorporates models such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Community Resiliency Model, and Zones of Regulation.

Additionally, Jennifer became a certified yoga teacher in 2010 and adopts a holistic perspective toward wellness. Since then she has deepened her yoga practice and knowledge through advanced trainings including yin, restorative, prenatal, children’s yoga, and yoga for resiliency and trauma. She works from a strength-based perspective, striving to help clients build a foundation for a strong, healthy, happy future in body, mind and spirit.

Jennifer says: “I am inspired by my own experience of adventure, reflection and personal transformation during a wellness retreat to Costa Rica in my 20s. I believe that my best learning, growth and development has come when I step out of my comfort zone and into my challenge zone. I hope to support and empower students to find their own transformative experience during their stay at Skyterra Embrace.”
